3D Artist - Low to Mid Poly Art, Texturing, and Rigging

Location: Remote
Job Type: Full-Time Experience: 2-4 years
Start Date: Immediate

Salary Range: ₹20,000 - ₹50,000 (Per Month)

What You’ll Do

We are seeking a talented 3D Artist with experience in creating low to mid poly assets for games.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in modeling, texturing, and rigging characters and props,
and have a good understanding of Unity’s art pipelines. Basic animation skills are also required to
bring your models to life within the game environment

Key Responsibilities:

    • 3D Modeling: Create high-quality, low to mid poly 3D models, including characters, props, and
    environments, optimized for performance within Unity.

    • Texturing: Develop textures that enhance the visual appeal of models, ensuring they fit
    seamlessly within the game’s artistic style and technical requirements.

    • Rigging: Rig characters and props for animation, ensuring that models are ready for both in
    game animation and any required cinematic sequences.

    • Basic Animation: Create basic animations for characters and props, including walk cycles, idle
    animations, and other necessary movements.

    • Art Pipeline Integration: Work closely with the development team to integrate 3D assets into
    Unity, following best practices for optimization and performance.

    • Collaboration: Collaborate with designers, animators, and other artists to ensure visual
    consistency and quality across the project.

    • Iteration: Refine and iterate on models, textures, and animations based on feedback, ensuring
    they meet both artistic and technical standards.

    • Documentation: Provide documentation and guidelines for the use and integration of 3D assets
    within Unity.

Who You Are

Experience: 

 • Proven experience as a 3D Artist with a portfolio of low to mid poly assets for games.  

 • Strong understanding of modeling, texturing, and rigging workflows, particularly within Unity. 


Skills: 

 • Proficient in industry-standard 3D software such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.

 • Strong understanding of UV mapping, texture creation, and material setup.

 • Experience with rigging and creating basic animations.

 • Familiarity with Unity's art pipelines, including asset import, optimization, and scene setup.

 • Knowledge of game art optimization techniques for performance on various platforms.


Soft Skills: 

 • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

 • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.  


Education: 

 • Bachelor's degree in 3D Art, Game Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
